We are looking for a highly motivated pharmacist with a good understanding of current workforce challenges to support senior clinical leaders with the delivery of workforce priorities at a regional level, more specifically, to explore how the School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation can fully engage with the Joint National Plan for Inclusive Pharmacy Practice.

The scheme is ideal for clinicians whoare interested in developing their leadership, strategic, communication and team working skills and that are seeking leadership roles for the future.

Main duties of the job

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery ofPharmacy workforcepolicy and gain experienceof strategic working withinHEE. You will join several other Clinical Fellows from a variety of professional backgroundsand willbenefit from coaching from senior clinical leads, shadowing opportunities at senior meetings both within and external to HEE, facilitated action learning sets and a recognised leadership development programme.The part-time nature of the post will enable you to continue with some clinical responsibilities should you wish to do so.

You will be able to evidence existing managerial experience, abilitytolead, empower and motivate othersandknowledge of NHS policies across healthcare systems.Successful delivery is dependent ontheability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.You will be a self-motivated with excellent attention to detail andbe keen to apply and grow your excellent organisational skills.
