As an NHS organisation, we are aligned to the Agenda for Change NHS Pay scale. This role is at Band 7, and the current full time starting salary is £47,810, with the opportunity for pay progression to £54,710 over 5 years, dependent upon successful performance reviews and achievement of objectives.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing structured analysis to inform business decisions. You should be collaborative and proactive, working on a wide variety of change initiatives using a range of skills and methodologies, working with stakeholders and/or multi-functional delivery teams to deliver change, maintain our core applications and deliver new services that support the health of millions of people.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders to conduct full business analysis across the change lifecycle. Supporting the appraisal of options, risks, benefits, impacts and costs; defining requirements to meet the business changes; supporting the identification of continuous operational improvement opportunities.
- Use a wide range of business analysis tools and techniques.
- Distil findings into an easy-to-consume format.
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, constructively challenging thinking whilst maintaining rapport.
- Work on complex strategic analysis, change delivery projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that the strategic, economic, commercial, financial and management perspectives of change are considered in line with governance and process controls.
- Produce specifications and define requirements to be delivered as part of formal and informal change initiatives.

Process modelling Employ a range of tools and techniques to map As-Is and To-Be business processes.
Gap analysis Evaluate requirements against the present state (where we are) and the target state (where we want to be) identifying opportunities to develop successful business requirements needed to make the transition.
Impact analysis Analyse the potential consequences of a change and estimate what needs to be modified to accomplish that change and focus on scoping changes within the details of the overall project design identifying potential stakeholders.
Benefit analysis Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of identified benefits and lead on identifying business-related actions that will assist with project delivery.
Stakeholder management and engagement Engage with business owners, business change lead sand users to ensure delivery of common purposeFacilitation Work with business owners and business users to identify needs.
System analysis Co-ordinate the work of systems analysis to ensure business needs are translated into solutions against identified time lines, and work with technical leads to ensure business needs are translated into the technical solutions.

- Knowledge of 5-part business cases and HMT Green Book principles
