We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Directorate, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering products and services that meet the needs of our users.

As a Delivery Manager, you will provide day-to-day management of the Delivery Team(s), creating an environment that enables the team to deliver at pace in line with GDS and NHSBSA standards. You will work closely with the Product Owner and Lead Delivery Manager to guide the team, track progress, and remove blockers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating efficient, self-organising teams and building effective working relationships across customers and stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

As an experienced Agile Delivery Manager, you'll be accountable for the effective, cross-functional delivery of products using agile techniques. You'll manage multidisciplinary Delivery team(s) to achieve planned outcomes, empower the team to self-organise effectively, integrate efficiently with other delivery teams, and be accountable for governance within the team.

You'll set a good, sustainable delivery pace, resolve conflict and encourage collaboration, apply good agile delivery practice to plan, track progress and manage blockers and resources, and lead on financial management, scope management and stakeholder management.
