We are looking for Prescription Exemption Checking Team Members to join our team on the Evening Shift in Newcastle. This role is perfect to see how rewarding a career in the NHS can be. If you are adaptable, work accurately and happy to work with tight targets, you have what this role needs! You will join the Prescription Services Evening Shift team completing data entry from prescription images to ensure that only those entitled to help with health costs are receiving benefits.

Main duties of the job
- Input data from image in a standardised format or by selecting from a list
- Perform all duties to the required level of output and accuracy
- Responsible for the security of documents , information and equipment under their control and undertakes all duties with due regards to the terms of the Data Protection Act
The current hours for the Evening Shift in Newcastle are 4pm-10pm Monday to Thursday, 4pm-9pm Friday and 7am-1pm Saturday. Successful candidates have the choice to work between 15-30 hours per week. Any hours worked after 8pm weekdays and any hours worked on a Saturday will attract an unsocial hours premium. Please note this salary is the Top of Band 2 (£22,383 per annum, pro rata).

As part of the recruitment process, candidates who are invited to interview will be asked to complete a test prior to the interview. Tests and interviews will be held face to face in Bridge House, Newcastle.
