Job summary

The Associate Director leads a portfolio of education and consultancy services for the life sciences industry and international partner agencies.

In addition, the Associate Director will drive the following significant areas of work, including:

  • Business development relating to education services and NICE International projects
  • New service development to identify opportunities to maximise income
  • Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
  • Delivery against NICE International's strategy

Main duties of the job

As the leader of the NICE International and Education portfolio, you will bring your strong background in partnership working to continue the delivery of strategic and operational objectives by:

  • Leading strategic relationships between NICE Advice and other teams within NICE and external partners
  • Taking full responsibility for leading and managing a portfolio of education services and NICE international projects
  • Working at a senior level within the organisation in a highly pressured and complex environment
  • Reviewing project deliverables to ensure the content is accurate and does not pose any reputational risk to NICE
  • Reviewing processes used across all services and projects to ensure that they are run efficiently and continue to meet the client's needs
  • Providing advice and senior level support to the Director of NICEAdvice, Executive Director and team members on highly complex issues, including the impact of technical developments, policy changes
  • Maximising the financial performance and profitability of the NICEAdvice function by achieving income and profit targets, reviewed annually
  • Monitoring income and expenditure and working collaboratively with the Director NICE Advice, Associate Director Commercial and Associate Director for Advice Services in financial decision making
