Main duties of the job

The Administrator will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

o Develop and administer systems within the centre/directorateo Plan and organise activities and own day-to-day worko Provide efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to team members, including preparing correspondence and papers, collating, copying and distributing papers and managing diarieso Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedureso Respond to queries, tailoring the approach to meet the needs of different groups/individualso Liaise with a range of stakeholders both externally and internally

About us

The HealthTech Programme develops guidance on the use of new and existing medical technologies and procedures within the NHS.Under the leadership of the Director of HealthTech, the HealthTech programme selects and assesses Health Technologies (medical devices, digital health technologies and novel diagnostic products), and develops guidance and advice on the clinical and cost-efficient use of these products for the NHS and its social care partners.An operational function supports the wider HealthTech programme in delivering guidance to the NHS and patients. The Administrator will be responsible for administrating, managing and supporting all phases of the HealthTech programmes in line with the published processes. The administrator will have a portfolio of projects that they take administrative lead for, including support for public committee meetings.
