The Data and administration officer will be responsible for supporting data quality and accurate recording of data and evidence to support the team's functions. This will include maintaining data systems and supporting the business in improving data quality and its processes for capturing data. The postholder will support with development of bespoke reports and dashboards for business needs. Additionally, the role will provide project and programme support to members of the team in collation of business intelligence and day to day activities.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for data management and administration within the Surveillance Function.

Example of what will be expected of the role:

  • Drive improvement in use of data systems within the team
  • Assistance in the development, maintenance and improvement of data systems for the teams needs
  • Collaborate with other internal teams on data consistency, reporting and systems
  • Analysing and providing information for reporting and performance targets
  • Responding to written and verbal enquiries from a range of external organisations, ensuring these are handled appropriately and forwarded as necessary to the appropriate person
  • Providing project management support, tracking progress and project activities for the team
