Job summary
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for providing project management support including developing and managing systems for projects, recording activities and tracking progress, providing advice and support to the other Coordinators in the Corporate Office team and act as a key point of contact for internal and external contacts. They will also assist the Associate Director and Project Manager to deliver their work programmes, taking the lead on projects where appropriate.
Main duties of the job
- Lead on various projects and activities, including regularly reviewing operational procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and overseeing the implementation of agreed changes.
- Project management support including developing and managing systems for projects, recording activities and tracking progress
- Day to day support and advice to the coordinators in relation to administrative duties
- Ensure consistency across the work programmes and take the lead on projects where appropriate
- Represent the team on NICE-led initiatives
- Contribute to the delivery of the functions of the corporate office team
- Develop, update and maintain processes and systems used by the corporate office to support business operations

The Corporate Office team is responsible for supporting a number of corporate functions within NICE including support for the executive team and Board, corporate governance, technology appraisal appeals, advisory committee meetings held in public, information governance and records management, and planning for the covid-19 public inquiry.
