Job summary

NICE seeks a Senior Business Analyst specialising in digital transformation. You enjoy working in a complex problem domain across several business functions. You can work with staff at all levels, employing negotiation skills where necessary. You have a keen eye for detail and can manage and analyse business requirements. You can model and analyse business processes using standard methods. You can select and use appropriate analytical methods for different situations. You have a sound knowledge of digital solutions, technical and legal requirements. You are a key player in the multi-disciplinary agile team. You are educated to master's level or have equivalent experience working at this level. You can work without close supervision.

What you will bring to NICE:

  • Significant experience of business transformation and development of new functionality and services - in knowledge and data management, information services or an on-line consumer/business-facing service.
  • Strong knowledge of tools and processes used in application development projects (architecture, data modelling, testing, estimating etc) and expertise in Agile business analysis methods.
  • People management and influencing skills to build relationships, explain strategies write user stories/use cases and translate business language between teams.

Contract type: Fixed term contract covering maternity leave. The contract length is 12 months, ending in April 2025.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

  • Work across the organisation to elicit & document accurate & comprehensive business requirements and translate these into clear user stories and use cases
  • Liaise closely with other members of the agile delivery team to ensure plans and needs are aligned
  • Be the Lead Business Analyst on complex programmes of work where there are multiple stakeholder groups involved and new requirements need to be traced through multiple integrated systems, requiring co- ordination and collaboration between multiple Business Analysts
  • Build relationships at all levels with staff across the organisation and develop a broad knowledge of business processes to become a partner in delivering business change

About us

The Digital, Information and Technology directorate (DIT) provides NICE with the technology and infrastructure they need to carry out their work. DIT does this through the provision of a:

  • secure and stable organisational infrastructure
  • working with business teams to find, buy, build, or develop solutions to do their work more efficiently
  • helping them to manage their data and information.
  • buying software.
  • DIT also designs, builds, and maintains NICE digital services.

The DIT Strategy and Governance team is responsible for governing, assuring and delivering NICE's Digital and Technology delivery roadmap. They ensure requests for technology are aligned with business priorities and strategy and spend is approved as part of the CDDO (Central Digital and Data Office) and DHSC digital spend process.

Our business analysts investigate, analyse, visualise, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts. They explore opportunities for NICE service and business improvement.
