  • Identifying opportunities for funding and developing bids to support further activities within the scope of the Programme and managing expenditure.

About us

The Data and Analytics Team is responsible for providing leadership in data and real-world evidence to ensure NICE uses a broad range of evidence in its guidance and products. The team works with system partners to ensure that NICE has access to a comprehensive range of health and care data that can inform our guidance and to enable us to be part of a system that continually learns from data and implementation. We are responsible for developing and maintaining NICE's real-world evidence framework, which signposts best practice in planning, delivering, and analysing real-world evidence studies. We provide training and upskilling to our staff in data analytics and best practice in applying real-world evidence to our decision making. In addition, we lead and support a range of cross institute research and data analysis projects, as well as demonstration projects with external partners.
