Job summary

The IT BA will help the Infra & Ops Team to gather essential requirements from the business, whilst producing comprehensive documentation, flows, and mappings to enable good business value and accurate requirements are passed to the Infra & Ops Team to then create IT Solutions based on the information gathered.

Main duties of the job

The IT Business Analyst (B.A.) role sits within the IT Infrastructure & Operations team in the Digital, Information and Technology (DIT) Directorate.

The post holder is responsible for supporting IT projects in business analysis activities including process mapping and undertaking the identification of improvements that will support new ways of working arising from IT related projects. Through effective communication and analytical skills they will gather information from a range of stakeholders to develop new workflows , plan and lead user acceptance training of solution, train staff in new ways of working and develop relevant key performance indicators and documentation as required for IT project work.

The Digital, Information and Technology (DIT) directorate is a 70 strong team of digital, information management and technology professionals. Our digital teams adopt a user centric agile methodology and work in multi-disciplinary teams (MDT's) with analytics and insight to develop and maintain NICE's suite of digital and technology services. We are playing a key role in the implementation of NICE's digital transformation programme.

The teams in DIT design, develop and maintain NICE's suite of externally facing digital services including the NICE's website, Pathways, Clinical Knowledge Summaries, BNF and Evidence Search which together attract more than 2 million users a month.
