The Transformation function is looking for a Business Partner to instigate, develop and deliver improvement projects. The role will take a hands on approach in doing this working alongside operational and non-operational colleagues across the organisation to make a difference to countering fraud in the NHS

It is an exciting time to join the NHS Counter Fraud Authority as we continue and accelerate our ambition to see quality at the centre of cost improvement, whilst we develop a long term and sustainable transformation plan. This is a fixed term contract until end of March 2025, with potential for extension thereafter subject to funding.

Main duties of the job

Development and delivery of a number of transformation, service improvement and business development projects which are fundamental to achievement of the organisation's strategic priorities. This will include projects that fall within the organisation's Transformational Evolution Programme as well as development of future business and commercial activities.

A member of a dynamic matrix team where specialists are commissioned on requirement, which provides an effective, high quality, professional and well co-ordinated transformation and business development function.

To actively support the identification, development and implementation of transformation and new business development opportunities at a technical and corporate level.

  • Experience of producing high level reports including use of complex and sensitive and contentious information.
  • Evidence of preparing and presenting complex information to professionals and others at different levels
  • Experience of negotiating and managing complex contracts, including service reviews and provision of service to external customers, manging specific clauses and identifying any risk on delivery of financial return.
  • Experience of project management from initial design to completion
  • Experienced leader, able to lead teams of people in complex or challenging change processes
  • Experience of facilitating groups helping them to identify problems, develop options and propose solutions
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible approach ensuring achievement of objectives within constantly changing and complex situations and environments
