We are recruiting for a Clinical Informatics Specialist to become a part of the NHS England Transformation Directorate. This is a great opportunity for a registered and regulated health or care professional who wants to broaden their skills in NHS leadership and in clinical informatics.
The roles can be based in any of our NHS England offices (Leeds, London, Exeter), depending in the successful candidates locality, with a blend of remote and office working.
The Clinical Informatics Specialist supports NHS England Digital Clinical Governance Framework, working across services, programme and projects. This includes clinical governance, clinical safety and clinical benefits delivery of assigned projects, programmes and services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support and deputise for the Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist in the management and maintenance of NHS England Digital Clinical Governance Framework within a specified assignment.
The postholder may be required to take part in an on-call rota in line with organisational policies.
As a clinical informatics specialist, you could be working on any of our exciting programmes and projects. These programmes are instrumental in bringing healthcare into the 21st century; providing safe, secure, reliable and efficient routes for patients and citizens, across the country, to access to their information and to the support services they need. These services are key in improving health and care. As part of a close-knit team with clinical, technical and programme delivery expertise, you will work in tandem with corporate clinical governance, clinical benefits and clinical safety to approve major, large-scale products into live environments.
