Main duties of the job

What youll be doing

As a senior individual within our People Service, you'll have a unique and varied role which requires you to provide high-level HR expertise and strategic advice to leaders and stakeholders. Using data and insight to inform decisions and drive improvement, youll lead and support complex change, transformation and strategic projects. Matrix-managing our people and supporting technical development, youll shape workforce, wellbeing and EDI strategies. Youll build strong professional relationships across the Council, unions, partners and external bodies, and represent our People Service with confidence, clarity and professionalism.
