City of York Council is offering an exciting
opportunity to join our developing 0-19 Healthy Child Service. We are looking
for high quality, innovative and forward looking registered nurses with a
minimum of 2 years post registration experience with a passion for delivering

Working as a Children and Young Peoples Health
Outreach Nurse you will work alongside the School Nurses to develop and
implement public health initiatives to promote the health and well-being of
children and young people, enabling them to reach their full potential. We
offer excellent support, training and development and corporate membership with
School and Public Health Nurses Association (SAPHNA). This is an excellent

Main duties of the job

the Healthy Child Service within Public Health. The Healthy Child Service works
alongside early help services, housing, adult services, the police, the

families and communities themselves.
