Job responsibilities
The salary range for these roles are £32,798 - £35,419 per annum, based on working 36-hours per week. This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 24 months. Do you want to be part of a new service that will improve mental health outcomes for children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism? Do you enjoy working with children, young people and their parent carers? Do you want to support children, young people and their families to create a personalised plan that ensures services work in a joined-up way that works for them? If so, this may be the opportunity for you! Flexible working This role is also available as a secondment and part-time position, we will consider flexible working requests. The location base for the Keyworking team will be flexible due to Surrey County Council's agile working policy. This may mean some days in our offices in Reigate, Woking, Leatherhead etc but your home location and commute time will be taken into account. This role will involve travel to the homes of the people you are supporting across Surrey and may require a flexible working pattern outside of core business hours occasionally. About the role These roles will be part of a newly developed Keyworking Service within Surrey County Council. It is in response to the NHS Long Term plan that states "by 2023/24 children and young people with a learning disability and/or who are autistic with the most complex needs will have a designated keyworker". For further details please refer to the Keyworking Information Handbook attached below. The Keyworker team will work to ensure children and young people with the most complex needs, initially those at risk of admission or in hospital, receive appropriate personalised, integrated support. This might be supporting someone at a crisis point after they have attempted suicide or serious self-harm injuries. You will do this by:
