Were looking for 2 experienced Occupational Therapists to join our supportive Long Term Occupational Therapy Team, helping adults with complex and long-term needs live safely and independently at home.

Youll deliver person-centred interventions, lead on Disabled Facilities Grant referrals, promote Assistive Technology and digital tools like AskSARA, and contribute to innovative projects across health and social care.

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your Director.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

• Can demonstrate and evidence skills in working with all age groups and many pathologies and disabilities
• Experience of working with people of diverse cultural and religious communities
• Proven ability in implementing Clinical Governance.
• Experience of contributing to service/quality improvement.
• Experience of working within a community or acute therapy team.
• Experience of case management in clients with complex long-term conditions and disabilities
• Experience of working with staff and managers at all levels across the community, engaging with health, housing, partner agencies, and the voluntary sector.
• Moving and Handling case work experience.
• Experience in diffusing conflict and complaints.
• Problem solving/decision-making skills based on client needs and goals.

Qualifications

Essential

• Degree/Diploma/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• HCPC Registered.

Desirable

• Master's level qualification in a specialist area.
