Job summary

Salary range: £55,783-£59,010per annum

Work location: Solo Children's Homes, Located in Chinnor, Nr Thame and in Sutton, Nr Witney, Oxfordshire

Hours per week: 37 -Sleep in (if required in extreme circumstances). Participation in the Managers On Call rota.

Contract: Permanent

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be the Registered Manager for our 2 new solo childrens homes. These provisions are small childrens homes imbedded in quiet local communities to provide a safe and nurturing home environment with intensive support packages for up to 2 young people in each home aged 12 17 who require short term care.

About us

OCC was fortunate to be successful with bidding for DFE monies to develop and grow our in-house childrens home provisions to enable more Oxfordshire children to remain in Oxfordshire when they become Children We Care For. As a result, we are excited to be opening 5 new childrens homes between November 2023 and December 2024. Our childrens homes sit within The Residential and Edge of Care Service which works with the most vulnerable children and families, including those on the edge of care, within the Children We Care For system and those preparing for independence. The strategic aim of this service is to deliver integrated and individualised interventions to promote best outcomes for children and their families. Weve got an ambitious road ahead, and we need the right talent to help us.
