Job summary

The ability to travel across the County is essential. As a Locality Support Worker you will be required to: Act as a liaison between schools, health services, and community groups to support vulnerable children and families. Provide advice and guidance to universal services on safeguarding and emerging needs. Serve as the first point of contact for concerns about children and referrals to statutory services. Oversee and guide the implementation of Strength and Need Forms and Team Around the Family processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local support services and resources. Build and maintain professional networks to facilitate collaboration among agencies. Manage safeguarding concerns and coordinate timely referrals. Lead practitioner networks, identify service gaps, and support coordinated meetings. Collect and review data and feedback to improve local provision. Foster open communication and collaborative partnerships to ensure early identification and support for children and families.

About the Role

The role is Grade 10, 37 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern to meet the needs of the service.
