Job summary

Our service is in the exciting position of extending our current paediatric speech and language therapy team. We have been promoting the benefits of speech and language therapy throughout Swindon and have secured funding for additional posts.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapists to join our service which provides integrated provision for children for their Health and Education needs.

We would welcome applications from newly qualified Speech and language therapist or those with experience. We have a range of posts available and can offer full time/ part time or term time only contracts.

The Service has a large number of specialist areas and has a culture of learning and growth with good funding for professional development.

The post will include a mixture of work in language clinics and delivering support to children with educational health care plans within school settings.

Main duties of the job

The Service sits within integrated early help teams which includes; Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, The Disabled Childrens Social Work Team, Children Looked after Team, Early Help Service, Health Visiting, School Nursing Service, Educational Psychology Service and Targeted Mental Health Services,

Childrens Social care and Swindon Borough councils specialist provision playgroup Koalas. This provides a unique opportunity for collaborative working to support the needs of children, young people and families.
