The Disability Social Care 0-25 Service has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Social Workerto join our team on afixed-term basis (and there after to be reviewed). The post will be based in our specialist Disabled Childrens Social Work Team, in Awdry House, Wisbech. This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a lively and dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis.
Provide a high quality and effective social work service to respond to the needs of thechildren and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines. Assess,need, plan and deliver focused intervention to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.

About youTo be successful in this role you will have an understanding of relevant SEND legislation and policy, and knowledge of the factors that lead to improved outcomes for children and young people with SEND. You will be responsible for managing risk and supporting children and young people assessed as being children in need, at risk of significant harm or for whom the Local Authority is a Corporate Parent. You will also be able to demonstrate you have the ability to manage a complex caseload and achieve positive outcomes for the countys most vulnerable residents.
We're looking for confident and dynamic individuals whoenjoy making a difference in theirlocal community, arecurious and spot things that others might not see, enjoysbuilding relationships and likes to explore possibilities.
You must:
- Be aqualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration
- Havethe ability towork from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently
