Main duties of the job
Your role and responsibilities
As a service manager within the Community Health division, you will:
- be at the forefront of managing change, leading high quality and effective ways of working
- be responsible for the delivery of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme and part of a senior management team working to achieve the best possible outcomes for children, young people and families living in Suffolk.
You will need
- A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with no restrictions on practice.
- Educational attainment at post graduate level or relevant experience in professional field of work.
- Evidence of continuing professional development .
- Management qualification (desirable).
- Demonstration of personal values that align to our corporateWE ASPIRE values.

About us
The team
- Community health is led by an Assistant Director and Head of Service for Children and Young People and 8 service managers.
- The 0-19 service includes two Healthy Child Service Managers, one clinical governance and audit manager, one service manager for safeguarding and one service manager for Family Nurse Partnership.
- The Healthy Child Service Managers strategically lead and directly manage the delivery of a universal, high quality community health prevention and early intervention services including: Health Visiting, School Nursing, Family Hubs and our Healthy Living Service.
- This post will also line manage our enuresis service and childrens community learning disability nursing team.
- We are a passionate dynamic team of senior managers who strive towards providing a 0-19 service that excels in providing high quality care for all of our children, young people and families in Suffolk.
