As an OD officer, you will oversee and contribute to organisational development programmes, including initiatives such as the Step up to Social Work programme. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service recruitment targets for students are met, while supporting and enhancing the delivery of effective attraction, recruitment, and selection processes for Social Work students. You will attend fitness-to-practice reviews and observations and other key meetings to monitor students progress.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England, with a well-established background in health and social care. Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of Practice Education experience, along with a strong ability to design and deliver training programs. A good strategic and practical understanding of social worker policy and current national research in social care is essential. A formal training qualification is desirable, but not required
