An exciting cross NHS/local authority opportunity has arisen in the London Borough of Bromley and NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (Bromley) for a Joint Clinical Lead for Community Equipment and Integrated Therapies.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a strong knowledge of occupational therapy and community equipment, as well as someone who can lead complex work across NHS and local authority services. The individual will be able to bring together professionals across a range of different services and backgrounds, in order to foster a common approach to improving community equipment services for children, young people and adults.

provide clinical leadership across local NHS and local authority community
equipment services in support of the Bromley Integrated Therapies Programme. To
provide specialist expertise on the provision of community equipment for
children, young people and adults with a health condition, social care and/or
education needs in order to improve their ability to do everyday tasks and to access
public services. To lead a programme of work on integrated community equipment
services in Bromley in order to maximise the benefit and value for money of
this provision for children, young people and adults in Bromley.
To
provide expertise and support across the Bromley Integrated Therapies Programme
in order to support commissioning and project work across a number of
cross-cutting workstreams, including on children, young peoples and adults
occupational therapy services.

- To be a registered Occupational Therapist with the Health Care Professionals Council, with a post qualification degree at higher or advanced level or equivalent expertise

- Substantial experience of working with community equipment services.
- Experience of leading/influencing the improvement of services across multi-disciplinary teams and/or agencies.
- Substantial experience of working with therapy services including occupational therapy services.
- Experience of delivering project and/or change outcomes in an organisational setting.
