Job summary
Were seeking experienced Social Workers to join our Mental Health Social Care Team. As a Senior Social Worker, youll play a pivotal role in providing specialist advice and assessment to individuals facing mental health challenges. Main duties of the job
- Operate within a sound understanding and application of current legal frameworks including the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
- Provide professional leadership in cases and support unqualified workers in their practice.
- Stay abreast of developments in service delivery, best practice, and case law to ensure high standards of service.
- Assess the needs of adults, determine outcomes in partnership with the individual, and promote independence and well-being.
- Monitor and review support plans to ensure they meet identified needs.
- Maintain accurate case records and complete required reports within agreed timescales.
- Participate in regular supervisory meetings to ensure effective communication and informed decision-making.
