Job summary

Tynedale centre, Hexham supports adults with complex needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is committed to helping maintain a quality service.

This role is:

• Permanent

• Part time, 20 hours

• NCC Band 4 salary - £24,201 - £25,795 FTE (pro rata for part time employees) - £13.26 per hour (20 hours - £13,829 - £14,740)

Main duties of the job

Role of the job:

• To support service users with their physical, personal and emotional care, to enable and promote independence so they can reach their full potential.
• Preparation and serving of meals / drinks
• Administer medication (appropriate training given)
• Communicating with service users and colleagues report writing and sharing of information
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure individual care plans are achieved/ reviewed
• Attend training, take part in appraisals, supervisions and team meetings.

Requirements:

• NVQ/QCF level 2 good levelof education
• Experience of working with adults who have complex needs
• Desirable - full driving license
