to have investment in School Nursing in Cornwall!!
We are looking for School
Nurses to come and work in our 0-19 Locality Teams many of which are based with
our Early Help and Social Care colleagues and we all record on the same
electronic record which really helps communication and co-ordination. We are
aiming for each Secondary School to have their own named School Nurse who will
work with shared skilled health staff to cover Primary Schools.
Working in
Cornwall has the added advantage also of having some beautiful rural areas and
beaches which provide plenty of leisure opportunities to create a great work
life balance.
Main duties of the job
You will be a qualified School Nurse (SCPHN) with team
leadership skills, looking for a diverse and exciting School Nursing post. You
will be forward thinking, proactive, and committed to improving the health
outcomes of children, families and communities.

We are employed by Cornwall Council and have Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions which is also a great plus! We can currently offer part time roles in the East of the county, based in Looe or Saltash.
