Job summary

We are looking for social workers to join our older people, adult disability, integrated discharge service, Autism, safeguarding and connected lives gateway teams.

Main duties of the job

Newly qualified social workers:

If you have recently completed your social work degree, you'll be enrolled onto our assessed and supported year in employment (ASYE)programme, with all the benefits and support available for a newly Qualified Social Worker.

Senior social workers will:

  • be a qualified, registered social worker who has successfully completed an ASYE program and is working to the Social Work England professional standards
  • actively undertake a specialist role e.g., AMHP, Practice Educator, Moving & Handling, Housing solutions lead or equivalent, or agreement to undertake at least one of these roles within the first year
  • work at the required level of the professional capabilities framework.
