As a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Sensory Services Officer, you'll have excellent communication skills and experience of working in the visual impairment sector. Experience of working with people with a hearing loss would also be desirable but is not essential, as training can be provided. Working in our fast-paced community service, you'll demonstrate effective assessment and treatment planning skills as well as a strengths-based approach to providing advice and information throughout someone's reablement journey, allowing them to problem solve and make informed decisions.

We value our staff highly and offer full induction, supervision, performance reviews, CPD opportunities and professional, clinical, managerial and peer support.

For further information please visit our Reablement website. Hampshire County Council also offers a comprehensive suite of management training which is offered alongside a generous benefits package.

Working Patterns

As the Reablement Service operates 7 days a week, you'll be required to work weekends on a 1:6 rotational basis. We are currently undergoing a transformation process which may impact on this rotation in the future. Our core business hours are 8.30 - 5pm.
