Job responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced manager to set the strategic direction for adult social care mental health services in Nottinghamshire, providing leadership and management to the development and delivery of services which provide support to people with mental health needs and/ or co-existing conditions, and/ or experiencing multiple disadvantage.
This is a key leadership role where you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support whilst playing a pivotal role, working with partner organisations, to shape and improve mental health services for local people.
This is an exciting time for Adult Social Care as we implement new operational arrangements, ensuring that our services are fit for the future, with a focus on equity and individual outcomes to develop independence, alongside place based and partnership working with both internal and external partners.
We have recently developed a new service model and structure for the Improving Lives service which will deliver better outcomes for people, manage increased demand, respond to legislative changes and reflect best practice. You will lead the implementation of the new model, supporting staff, partners and people with lived experience as necessary.
Working closely with other Group Manager colleagues, you will ensure that services are meeting statutory duties and regulatory requirements and that our delivery and practice is of the highest quality, making decisions and solving problems in a fast paced and complex service environment.
You will also contribute to the transformation of wider adult social care services in line with the Council's strategic priorities and embed our Owning and Driving Performance programme across the department.
If you think you have the right skills, experience, and qualifications for the role alongside a high degree of personal drive and enthusiasm, then this could be the job for you.
