Ada Belfield Centre offers a wide range of individually tailored care to suit various needs including 20 long-term residential care and 20 community support beds. Situated in Belper a thriving town with a close community. Ada Bellfield is proud of its community links, and we share the site with Belper Library. Also on site in our newly opened community café that is fast becoming a popular destination for the community.

Main duties of the job

Community Support Beds and Beyond:

At Ada Belfield, we go beyond traditional care models by offering community support beds that serve as a crucial transition for those ready to leave the hospital but not quite ready to return home independently. Leading and managing this dynamic element of care, you will be responsible for the safe, daily admission and discharge of individuals, with continuous professional networking with our allied health and social care professionals. As a Unit Manager, you will relish the unique challenges and opportunities of overseeing this diverse care offer, working collaboratively with the privately managed Extra Care Unit that completes the community care centre.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will hold a Health & Social Care qualification, demonstrate management expertise in a residential home, have a proven track record in dementia care, and possess knowledge of relevant legislation and policy.
