Job summary

Our Reablement team helps people, from all walks of life, regain their independence quickly after sickness or injury. We have opportunities available for Support Workers, in Peterborough, to make a real difference by helping people get back to living independently, in their own homes.

Main duties of the job

The role requires you to work independently. You will be based in the community, visiting clients in their homes. No formal qualifications are required - all training is provided with formal qualifications in health & social care, and regular support meetings.The best support workers have great verbal and written skills, enjoy working with the public and are inspired by helping others.

• Flexible shift patterns (only work 2 days every other week!)

• Vacancies range from 26 hours through to 30 hours per week.

• Evening only positions available.

• Paid Mileage rate and variable working hours

• Training and ongoing development

• 24 Days Leave plus Bank holidays

• Support to achieve your formal Care Qualifications

• Career development.

• Local Government Pension Scheme

• Great 1:1 support
