Main duties of the job
About You We are seeking an experienced and dynamic occupational therapist with a proven background in moving and handling and single-handed care. Working as an independent practitioner, you will assess and advise people, and their carers, who have moving and handling needs. The role includes coordinating work with a fellow moving & handling OT, ensuring and promoting safe, evidence-based practice. We are a supportive and friendly team, and you will have regular supervision, and opportunities for peer supervision and further training. This role is hybrid, working flexibly across bases (The Hollies- Midsomer Norton, Keynsham Civic Centre, and Cleeve Court- Bath) and working from home. The role is part time, 22 hours, Wednesday to Friday, (office hours).
