City Health Care Partnership CIC are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join their team of Support Staff in the Urgent Treatment Centre's based across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. The Support Staff member will be responsible for booking in all patients on SystmOne, answering phone calls to the department, directing patients accordingly, chaperoning GPs and Practitioners, home visits, equipment and vehicles checks, medication checks, monitoring the waiting room, performing comfort calls and a variety of administration duties.
Patient presentations will include undiagnosed undifferentiated illness and minor injuries, acute presentations and at times the exacerbation of long-term conditions. The Support Staff member will be responsible for supporting the clinical team to ensure that the highest standard of clinical care is provided for patients across CHCP.
Main duties of the job
The Support Staff member will act within their professional boundaries and will support the delivery of policies and procedures. They will act as a positive role model supporting junior staff whist working flexibly between urgent care and primary care to support with the provision of safe clinical expert care. The successful candidate will be one who is motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic. The post holder will support collaborative working with partner organisations to ensure that care is seamless and timely to ensure the best possible patient experience. There will be an expectation to work across all bases within the Hull and East Riding locality. Working as part of an established Support Staff workforce, they will benefit from a multi-disciplinary team, and be exposed to an extensive range of services and healthcare settings and locations. They will work alongside our newly developed multi-professional clinical model and will be supported by a network of clinicians to share expertise. Ongoing training and development will be supported through in-house competencies.
