Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and highly dedicated individual that is able to undertake e-rostering and rota co-ordination for an expanding Integrated Urgent Care Service.
The individual will manage support staff, GP and practitioner rotas via e-roster management - including, annual leave management, shift changes and sickness reporting.
There will be an expectation to plan and organise bank staff required for planned and unplanned absences. Co-ordinating a daily staffing planning meeting will be a part of the role to support the clinical manager team in ensuring safe daily staffing for the service.
Communication and organisational skills are essential for this role. You will be required to provide and receive complex information. Communication may be in person, by telephone, e-mail or written/typed. The post holder will be expected to manage multiple e-mail inboxes - prioritising workload on a daily basis.
Main duties of the job
o To provide support to the clinical manager team and head of service to ensure the management ofprocesses and systems in place in the data quality team.o Liaison with the wider organisation on routine administrative matters.o To manage support staff, GP and practitioner rotas via E-Roster management - including annual leavemanagement / changing shifts/overtime, sickness reporting etc.o To plan and organise bank staff required for planned and unplanned absence when required for any shiftswithin the Urgent Care Service, i.e. support staff, GP's, urgent care practitioners.o To plan, co-ordinate, monitor and handle work generated by the Datix, including 4C' system.o To use systems to monitor and approve monthly eExpense claims as directed by the Clinical Manager andTeam leader staff.o To attend meetings relevant the role or service including minute takingo To complete data cleansing and updating of the U-Drive in line with the requirements of the Head of Serviceand Clinical Manager team.o To complete audits required by the organisation in conjunction with the Head of Service and ClinicalManager team, using a variety of systems such as Datix/SystmOne/eRoster/eExpenses to ensure practicesmeet/improve clinical governance practices.
