Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and driven Operational Manager for CHCP CIC dental services. The successful candidate will have operational management responsibility for General Dental Services, Community Dental Services and the East Riding Oral Health promotion across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Working with a range of dental teams and reporting to the Head of Service/Assistant Director, the successful candidate will have high visibility within services to ensure service delivery remains safe, patient-centred, innovative, and financially viable. Along with the existing contractual arrangements, the postholder will be responsible for developing and implementing new ways of working across the dental services, including transformative work for future GDS service provision.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have knowledge and skills in budget management, proven experience of strong leadership & change management, and a passion for excellence in delivering first-class services and excellent knowledge of dental services. The post holder will be expected to support the development and redesign of extremely busy clinics and achieve ambitious key performance indicators. Experience of working in dental services previously would be advantageous, although not essential. The ability to travel between sites will be required.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline to support operational management of dental services or equivalent experience that includes advanced models of practice plus supervision, leading of staff

- Highly developed knowledge and understanding of contractual requirements
- Demonstrates an understanding of operational challenges within dentistry and service developments.
