We are looking for a highly motivated, team-player to join our successful Wellbeing Service.
Main duties of the job
The role is fast paced and challenging and will be working to support a wide range of communities in St Helens. You should enjoy working with people and be able to take a client-centred approach, with excellent listening and empathy skills.
As a Lifestyle Advisor you be tackling obesity, providing holistic support and exercise guidance including to specialist populations, and setting safe and suitable health plans. The role will work within a multi-disciplinary environment and includes delivering group initiatives, physical activity and working 1-1.

- Recognised GP referral Qualification or equivalent Level 3 qualification (REPS)
- Vocational qualification in coaching, teaching and instruction of physical activity (at least level 2 reps)

- Health related degree
- Nutritional qualification
- Children's/ Young people's physical activity qualification
Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of physiological benefits and fitness programming for a range of medical conditions
