An exciting opportunity has
arisen to join our friendly team at the brand-new THH Southend Health
Centre, opening in January 2026. We are seeking enthusiastic,
motivated individuals to deliver high-quality administrative
and reception services in a busy, patient-focused environment.
The role will involve warmly
welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling enquiries, and ensuring the
smooth and efficient running of front-desk operations.
THH Southend Hub will be open for a 7 day a week service, weekend working will be required with your role.
Main duties of the job
The Administrator &
Receptionist is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support
and reception services. This includes warmly welcoming patients, managing
appointments, and ensuring
efficient front-desk operations. Support the reception function across all sites if required.

- Provide reception and administration support to our THH
clinic ensuring a seamless
patient journey for all.
- Greet and welcome patients
and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Handle incoming phone calls
and direct inquiries
appropriate.
- Maintain accurate patient records
and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Support the daily operations of the reception
area to ensure a smooth and organised workflow.
- Ensure that data held for visitors
is accurate within the electronic filing systems
- Provide cross-cover for general
reception areas across
the four main THH sites (Grays, Fobbing, Basildon,
Southend) when required.
- Assist in maintaining and improving our administration standards
