Reports to: Clinical Director
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Medication titration and monitoring: Initiate, adjust, and monitor ADHD medication regimens, ensuring safety and efficacy.
- Prescribing responsibilities: Provide independent prescribing within scope of practice, adhering to clinical governance standards.
- Collaborative care: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and administrative staff.
- Patient education and support: Offer guidance to patients and families regarding ADHD, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
- Clinical documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient records.
- Professional development: Engage in supervision, training, and reflective practice under the guidance of the Clinical Director.
- Conduct Adult ADHD assessments if/when needed: Carry out structured diagnostic evaluations in line with national and local guidelines.

- Clinical skills - Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, risk assessment, and mental health care.
- Communication - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Teamwork - Commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care.
