What we are looking for
A clinical qualification in:
Clinical Psychlogy
Social Work
Mental Health Nursing
Relevant registration with HCPC, NMC or SWE, SCW or SSSC
Experience in a similar role working with mental health, risk assessment, safeguarding and neurodevelopment
Excellent knowledge of risk and safeguarding procedures
Knowledge of neurodivergence and neurodevelopmental conditions
A high level of written and verbal communication
Excellent knowledge of NICE guidelines
What you’ll do as a Risk and Safeguarding Practitioner
Triage referrals for Neurodevelopment Assessments, ensuring it is safe and appropriate for the client to be assessed via KT Healthcare’s assessment pathway
Screen referrals for risk and conduct high quality risk assessments where required
Undertake risk assessment phone calls with patients and families.
Communicate the outcome of the decision with patients and families
Work closely with the senior clinical team and clinicians to ensure a safe and effective service is delivered
Be a specialist in supporting the identification of safeguarding risk to children and adults, advising on such, and escalating when necessary
Engage in multi-agency working where appropriate
Contribute to the development of the service
