Female Complex Care Assistant– Bedford  (Bank)

Shift Pattern: Monday – Sunday, 9:30am – 3:30pm Pay: £13.00

Libertatem is seeking a compassionate professional to support an adult client with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour.

You’ll provide consistent, person-centred care by  supporting daily routines, and helping them engage with the community.

• Support a client who enjoys walks, pub lunches, dancing, music, and day trips

• Enjoy a dedicated daily break while remaining present in the home

• Be part of a small, close-knit support team

• Comprehensive training – online and classroom-based

• Support to achieve NVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care

• Ongoing guidance from a Care Coordinator or Nurse Manager

• Access to the Sonderwell Carer App for schedules, updates, and resources

• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or challenging behaviour

• Compassionate, empathetic, and dependable personality

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Calm under pressure and confident in managing behavioural challenges

• Ability to work independently and use initiative

• Adult with learning disabilities and autism

• May exhibit challenging behaviour

• Enjoys social activities, music, and staying active in the community

Qualifications

Essential

• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or challenging behaviour is required. Compassionate, empathetic, and dependable personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and use initiative are also essential.
