Job summary

Main duties of the job

As a Cerebral Palsy Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the client with daily routines, personal care, and encouraging social interaction and community activities. You will also join in with music, sensory activities, and hobbies, promoting the client's independence, wellbeing, and enjoyment of life. The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence to transport the client to outings and appointments.

Location: Rugby Hours: Monday - Sunday 08:00 - 20:00  Pay Rate: £15.14 per hour Driver Required

We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to join our team in Rugby. You’ll be supporting a sociable young man with cerebral palsy, who loves company and enjoys getting out and about. (there is a dog in the home so must be comfortable with pets)

This is more than a support role – it’s about helping someone live life to the fullest.

Our client enjoys: Listening to all kinds of music & singing along Looking in the mirror & engaging with sensory play Sensory stories & using his vibrating cushion Sitting in the garden, enjoying the sounds of family and nature Cartoons & superheroes Trips out in the community with good company

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting with daily routines and personal care

  • Encouraging social interaction and community activities

  • Joining in with music, sensory activities, and hobbies

  • Promoting independence, wellbeing, and fun

  • Driving to outings and appointments (Full UK Driving Licence essential)

What You’ll Need

  • Experience with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and learning disabilities, manual handling

  • A Full UK Driving Licence

  • A caring, patient, and sociable personality
