Main duties of the job

We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Female Care Assistant to join our team in Ilford, supporting a young client with Dystonic Cerebral Palsy, visual and hearing impairments, and a range of complex health needs. The role involves providing personal care and mobility support, supporting with PEG (enteral) feeding, oxygen therapy, and oral suctioning, assisting with bedtime routines and repositioning, and promoting comfort, calm, and positive sensory interaction.

Female Complex Care Assistant – Night Shifts Location: Ilford Pay: £14.96 per hour Shifts: Tuesday & Wednesday (21:30 – 09:00), Saturday (21:00 – 08:00)

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Female Care Assistant to join our team in Ilford, supporting a young client with Dystonic Cerebral Palsy, visual and hearing impairments, and a range of complex health needs.

They enjoy listening to music, having stories read to them, and especially love it when someone sings. This role is ideal for someone who values building meaningful connections and providing consistent, person-centred care.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing personal care and mobility support

  • Supporting with PEG (enteral) feeding, oxygen therapy, and oral suctioning

  • Assisting with bedtime routines and repositioning

  • Promoting comfort, calm, and positive sensory interaction

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs

  • Essential experience:

    • Enteral (PEG) feeding

    • Oxygen therapy

    • Oral suctioning

  • A calm, reliable, and emotionally intuitive approach
