Job summary
This is an opportunity to work as a Brain Injury Support Worker for the Libertatem Healthcare Group, a provider of care and support services for clients who have sustained personal injuries or suffered from medical negligence. The role involves assisting a client in Southampton with daily routines, encouraging independence, and offering emotional support and companionship.
Main duties of the job
As a Brain Injury Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the daily routines and personal tasks of a client, encouraging their independence and skill-building, offering emotional support and friendly companionship, and keeping clear records of care and sharing updates with the team. You will need experience in supporting individuals with brain injuries, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, great communication skills, compassion, patience, and a positive attitude, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
