Female Complex Care Assistant Hourly Pay: £14.00 Location: Silsden Day Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Due to the personal care needs of the client, this role is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

You will provide one-on-one care for a young adult with cerebral palsy, helping them live life to the fullest at home and in the community.

• Support with personal care and daily living activities

• Administer medication as prescribed

• Perform suctioning and enteral feeding via Mic-Key gastrostomy

• Monitor and manage seizures

• Accompany the client to medical appointments and social activities

• Encourage engagement in fun and creative hobbies (arts & crafts, Lego building, movie nights)

• Build a trusting relationship with the client and their family

• Previous experience in complex care (suctioning, enteral feeding, seizure management)

• A compassionate, patient, and reliable nature

• A flexible and proactive approach to care

• Confidence in building rapport and offering emotional support

• A genuine commitment to promoting independence and dignity

• Full training in complex care, both online and classroom-based

Essential

• Previous experience in complex care (suctioning, enteral feeding, seizure management), a compassionate, patient, and reliable nature, a flexible and proactive approach to care, confidence in building rapport and offering emotional support, and a genuine commitment to promoting independence and dignity.
