Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed full time Support Worker to join our team in Chester. In this position, you will deliver exceptional care and support to our client with Brain Injury, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Job responsibilities

 

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a committed full time Support Worker to join our team in Chester. In this position, you will deliver exceptional care and support to our client with Brain Injury, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

    Given the personal care requirements, we are looking for a male support worker. The ideal candidate should be able to drive.

    You will have prior experience in care with a solid background in following care plans and protocols. You will be able to demonstrate confidence in your role, as well as taking a compassionate and caring approach towards pushing the client to be very independent, whilst working closely with the team leader.

     

    Working Hours:

    Hours required: Mon -Sun 24 hours shifts on rolling rota basis. Alternate weekends will be required

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
    • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, driving to school and daily trips.
    • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
    • Providing emotional support and companionship.
    • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
    • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

    Requirements:

    • Care experience essential with a good grounding. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
    • Able to drive with a valid UK license.
