Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cross-Sectional Radiographers with a strong focus on MRI to join our dynamic imaging team across multiple locations
The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, supporting protocol development, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients.
This role is ideally suited to someone confident in cross-sectional imaging techniques, and committed to clinical excellence.
You will work collaboratively in a small but friendly team, contributing to service development and maintaining the highest standards of patient care and imaging safetety
Main duties of the job
Perform Diagnostic Imaging:

Deliver high-quality MRI scans and other cross-sectional imaging (CT, as required) according to clinical protocols.

Ensure accurate patient positioning, image acquisition, and adherence to imaging protocols.

Patient Care and Safety:

Prepare and support patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and reassurance.

Maintain patient safety, including monitoring for adverse reactions and adhering to radiation safety and MRI safety protocols.

Protocol Development and Image Evaluation:

Assist in the development, optimisation, and implementation of MRI and cross-sectional imaging protocols.

Evaluate image quality and make adjustments to ensure diagnostic accuracy.

Clinical Governance and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with HCPC registration requirements, departmental procedures, and professional standards.

Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in line with information governance and data protection standards.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work closely with radiologists, fellow radiographers, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and service delivery.

Provide guidance and support to junior staff or trainees as required.

Equipment Maintenance and Quality Assurance:

Perform routine checks, quality assurance, and maintenance of MRI and other cross-sectional imaging equipment.
