Job summary
The Treatment and Recovery function within Syncora consists of Acorn
Recovery Projects and Delphi Medical, both leaders in their field of providing drug and alcohol treatment. Within this area of the
business, there are several successful services and contracts, including
Community and Residential Treatment, Prison and Community Services and
Supported Accommodation, as well as numerous opportunities to grow and improve
our combined portfolio.
Both
Acorn and Delphi have strong service offers, each with a clear vision for
providing quality support and treatment. During the past two years the current
Director of Treatment & Recovery has led the development of an integrated
approach to substance misuse service delivery across Syncora. This role will continue
to build upon the good foundations ensuring that we sustain a multifaceted
offer that has a clear vision and results in a culture of collaboration and
sharing of success.
Main duties of the job
The successful
candidate will hold responsibility for the excellent strategic, operational, and financial
delivery of quality services that meet all regulatory and legislative
requirements. The ability to retain oversight and leadership of key business
areas is required, as well as the understanding that operational involvement at
times is required to fully understand the quality and impact of our offer.
The
successful candidate will work creatively and innovatively with teams and other
senior leaders across The Calico Group to develop and encourage joined-up
working, ensuring that services provide high-quality therapeutic intervention,
placing the customer need at the forefront. The role will work collaboratively
with the Director of Partnerships and Head of Business development, supporting
key projects and growth opportunities that support this ambition. Treatment and
Recovery is an area of growth for The Calico Group. The successful candidate
will have the experience and passion to continue this growth, with focus on the
substance misuse, mental health, and criminal justice sectors.
You will
report to the Managing Director of Syncora and form part of the Syncora Senior
Leadership Team, this role will play a vital part in supporting colleagues and
bringing energy and enthusiasm in order to motivate the team. The successful
candidate can see beyond their own area of the business and collaborate wider,
providing a dynamic and agile working style.
