Job summary

The project provides short-term supported accommodation services for people experiencing homelessness that have complex needs. The project aims to support and improve the lives of those who experience repeated homelessness /entrenched rough sleeping and find it difficult to secure and maintain independent living because of these complex needs.

The Project Coordinator will be an integral part of the Leadership Team. The role will lead and support the team to engage and motivate residents, whilst promoting an environment where they can make positive changes and achieve successful move on.

As the lead manager within the project you will support the wider management team to deliver assurances around performance and operationally manage the building and service. You will help us enhance our reputation, contribute to an on-call / out of hours rota system when needed and flexibly provide managerial support to other service areas when required

Carrying out staff 1-2-1s, personal development and wellbeing sessions

Employee recruitment and selection

Rota management

Ensuring a wide-ranging programme of activities is running to enhance outcomes for our customers

Dealing with evictions and incidents, including knowledge and experience of managing safeguarding alerts / concerns

Arranging training for staff and ensuring it is up to date

Representing the service at stakeholder, partnership, and internal meetings

Ensuring compliance via policies / procedures and data reporting

Quality checks and audits / contractual reporting and KPI management

Leading on embedding trauma informed approaches and practices

Chairing team meetings

Effective partnership working to enhance service delivery

Financial management, performing to budgets and ensuring rent collection rates / low voids rates / invoicing and systems are managed well

Supporting the wider Gateway Services Management Team
