What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Manager within Delphis Horizon service in Blackpool, you will work closely with the nursing and prescribing team through supervision and coordinated support to deliver the best care they can to people who use our services. You will lead on all clinical aspects of care and contribute to the Horizon and Delphi leadership Team.
You will work with other managers in an integrated service, communicating effectively to manage key performance targets and support the team in achieving success, reporting back to commissioners as needed meeting agreed deadlines. Good report writing skills will be needed to compile monthly and quarterly reports as required to stakeholders regarding service provision and delivery.
A key part of your role as Clinical Manager, you will work across the various Health and Social Care systems in Blackpool, working in partnership with other organisations and stakeholders in a multidisciplinary approach to delivering shared outcomes for people who use services.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the effective operation of clinical services on a daily basis, including facilitating team meetings, reflective practice and best practice sessions, rotas, human resources, and clinical governance.
A Clinical Manager will support the Service Manager and Delphi Clinical Lead to develop the service, create innovation and new opportunities, and implement services that offer at least a CQC Good rating.
You will be based at our Blackpool offices and your hours of work would be 37.5 hours per week. There could be some weekend and evening working, or early/late starts as needed.

The service manager will ensure that the service is fully compliant with CQC
essential standards of quality and safety.
The service manager will achieve this by
regularly ensuring all relevant CQC standards are met and completing the quality
framework.
Team and manager meetings will be effective ensuring the team are well informed,
organised and can raise and discuss service advances as well as challenges faced.
Ensure services are delivered within the monthly and annual budget.
Appropriate business opportunities will be identified.
Mobilisation and planning activity will be effective.
Quality tenders and grant applications will be produced with your support to
development and sustain business for the company.
Regular fundraising activities will be planned and coordinated to strength the
services financial position.
Contract KPIs and deliverables will consistently be met or exceeded to ensure we
are in the best possible position to retain the contract and win new work, enabling
us to provide outstanding services to current and new clients.
Services and support will be delivered safely and effectively in line with all current
regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Continued personal development will be ongoing to increase the service offer and
own skill set.
Strong relationships will be established and developed across the group to maximise
opportunities, support networks and collaboration.
Informed service improvement plans will be in place and you will continue to monitor
and develop these with client and staff engagement to evidence continuous service
improvement with annual action plans.
Positive wellbeing will be encouraged and promoted for both clients and staff.
